Kira is a social media manager at Katuvi, a woman-owned digital marketing firm specializing in the realms of marine conservation, science communication, and digital storytelling. 

As a master’s student at Scripps Institute of Oceanography at UC San Diego, Kira created infographics titled 'A Time Around a Plate,' which served as a tool for raising awareness about the time and effort invested in putting food from the sea on our plates. She also led a study on the discourse surrounding kelp forest restoration among its various stakeholders in California.
